Singapore, February 28, 2007 – Fuji Xerox, a leader in the digital print market, today announced that it has teamed up with three partners -- Nuance, Captaris and BEAR Solutions – to develop best-of-breed solutions for its range of ApeosPort multifunction devices (MFDs).

Managed from one or more centralised servers and accessed via ApeosPort MFDs, these solutions not only enhance efficiency by streamlining workflows but also enable seamless integration with business applications. Fuji Xerox, Nuance and OmniPage for Apeos
OmniPage for Apeos places powerful optical character recognition (OCR) technology in the hands of all users within an organisation. With the simple touch of a button at the user interface of the MFD, users can convert hardcopy documents in a number of languages into electronic text, or searchable PDF files prior to distributing these to email recipients or networked folders.
