ApeosPort-II 7000/6000 - Information Integrator and Knowledge Management
The ApeosPort-II faxes, copies, prints and scans, and it is Fuji Xerox's flagship digital multifunction device because it epitomises how businesses can easily integrate and manage both digital and paper-based information securely and flexibly.
With Apeos iiX (internet integration utilising XML) technology, ApeosPort-II links seamlessly with critical business applications like CRM, DMS and ERP via the intranet or internet, accommodating an increasing mobile workforce. It is an integration platform of information that enables better workgroup communication in innovative ways.
Apeos iiX SDKs (Software Development Kits) makes possible for business application to be easily integrated to ApeosPort-II using open architecture XML and SOAP technologies.
ApeosPort-II also boasts five intelligent services - Document Flow; Management; Security; Customise; and Mobile. These are designed to eliminate repetitive tasks and redundancies in document processing thereby increasing office productivity and efficiency.
Its printing and copying prowess is a blazing 75 ppm. Although it is a monochrome device, it colour scans at a speed of 50 ipm and faster for monochrome documents, 200 ipm thanks to the high speed one path duplex scanning. Fax, iFax, PC Fax and Server fax are all available as well as a wide variety of finishing features. The ApeosPort-II also has high capacity paper storage of up to 8,600 sheets.
DocuCentre-II 7000/6000 - All-Rounder, High Performance
The DocuCentre-II continues its legacy of being a customer favourite. The new models are high performance, intelligent multifunction devices that guarantee professional document processing and customer satisfaction.
With DocuCentre-II printing/copying is a breeze. It is copy-ready in just 30 seconds, achieving fast but quality printing and copying at 75 ppm. High speed also extends to scanning - 75 images per minute for monochrome documents. It scans into different formats such as TIFF, PDF or XDW then stores them in a PC or server for SMB (Server Message Block) or FTP applications.
The DocuCentre-II allows for easy fax management with various faxing options. With the Job Flow function, documents can be faxed, sent as e-mail attachments and saved in the SMB or FTP server simultaneously. With ApeosWare Flow Service, image processing and format conversion are automatically organised according to time band or sender ID.
The trademark of DocuCentre-II has to be its ease of use and choice of finishing options. A 10.4 inch colour, touch screen, UI panel is available with the 8.1 inch as standard. Motion picture graphics pin point paper jams and easy-to-follow instructions to rectify any problems. The DocuCentre-II gives a choice of eight different types of finishers and two high capacity feeders (2,000 and 4,000).
